The 25 Hour Day...

Every morning, I am blessed to have time to spend with the Lord, praying and just talking to Him, one-on-one in a quiet and serene environment. šŸ™

Back in the day, when we had littles running around and Michael Jay and I both worked full time, finding time amid the daily grind and routine family chaos made that ā€œalone timeā€ much harder to find! šŸ¤Ŗ

Because of our busy schedules and ME being the worst morning person EVER, šŸ˜ I usually only had a chance to fully connect with Jesus at night when I was in bed and the Curtis home was finally silenced!

Of course, there is never a ā€œbadā€ time to pray, and I still pray at night, too, but now that I have a perspective on the benefits of both morning and evening prayers, I just wanted to share with you my experience between the two!

Scripture tells us in Psalms to seek Him EARLY in the morning and Paul tells us in Ephesians to put on the Armor of God daily. Since Covid, I donā€™t ALWAYS get dressed first thing in the morning but Iā€™m sure you get his point! Lol

ā˜€ļø

There is a reason that God gives us every inspired Word that we read in the Bible, and I believe praying in the morning is one of THE most effective ways to start our day.

For me, I have more peace, more energy, more patience, more strength, and am absolutely more productive overall. šŸ’Ŗ

Our strength comes from the Lord, so if you are in a position to wake up an hour earlier to love on Him before your feet hit the flo

or, I would recommend trying to do just that!! Youā€™ll see a HUGE difference and most of the time, youā€™ll ā€œsomehowā€ have more hours in the day to do get more done!! Funny how He does that!! ā˜ŗļø

Have a blessed Monday, friends!!

Xoxo

Wendy
